We aim to be accurate, and we fix mistakes openly. This page explains how to report an error and lists corrections made to published articles. For the wider rules, see our editorial policy.
How to report an error
Use our contact page and include:
- the link to the article,
- the sentence or figure you believe is wrong,
- a source that supports the correction, such as a company page, filing or paper (very helpful, but not required).
What we do when we find an error
- Check it against primary and official sources.
- Fix it in the article text and update the “Last updated” date.
- Note it. For a factual error that could change a reader’s understanding, we add a short dated correction note to the article and an entry to the log below.
- Update related pieces and social posts where the same error appears.
Typos, formatting and link fixes are made without a note. Changes that reflect new developments (for example, a company announcing a price after we reported it was undisclosed) are shown as updates, not corrections.
Corrections and clarifications log
Newest first. Each entry gives the date, the article, what was wrong, and what is now stated.
No corrections have been published yet. If we rewrite, merge or remove an older article, we note it in the updated article or redirect it to the closest current page.
Right of reply
If you represent a company we have covered and believe an article is inaccurate, contact us with the specific statement and a source. We will review it under the same process. We correct errors of fact; we do not remove accurate reporting at a company’s request.
