About RoboticaGuide

roboticaguide.com/ is an independent publication about humanoid robots, embodied AI and the robotics industry. We help readers understand what is real, what is a demo, and what is still only a plan.

Our mission

Robotics coverage is full of impressive videos and ambitious timelines. Our job is to slow that down: to say plainly what a company has confirmed, what has only been reported, and what has not been disclosed. When something is not publicly known, such as a price or a performance number, we say so instead of guessing.

What RoboticaGuide covers

  • Humanoid robots: products and prototypes from companies such as Agility Robotics, Boston Dynamics, Figure, Apptronik, 1X, Unitree and Tesla.
  • Embodied AI: the models and software that let robots see, plan and act, including vision-language-action (VLA) models.
  • Robotics news and policy: funding, production, safety approaches, trade and regulatory changes that affect what robots can be built or sold.
  • Explainers and buyer guides: plain-English background, with prices and specifications only where the maker has published them.

We do not currently cover most consumer gadgets, robot vacuums or toy robots, and we do not publish product reviews based on hands-on testing unless an article explicitly says we tested the product ourselves.

How we verify what we publish

  1. Primary sources first. We start from company announcements, product pages, spec sheets, regulatory filings, government documents and research papers, and we link to them in a Sources section.
  2. Claims are labeled. Specifications and performance figures from a manufacturer are described as company-reported. Reports from unnamed sources are identified as unconfirmed.
  3. We separate evidence levels. A demo, internal use, a customer pilot and a commercial deployment are different things, and we say which one a story describes. Where relevant, we ask whether a task was autonomous or teleoperated.
  4. Dates matter. Articles show a “last updated” date, and we revise them when new facts arrive.
  5. We fix mistakes in public. See our corrections page.

The full rules are in our editorial policy.

Who runs RoboticaGuide

roboticaguide.com/ is owned and published by RoboticaGuide. Articles appear under the byline Robotica Guide Staff.

Articles are drafted with the help of AI tools and then reviewed and edited by an editor before they are published. AI tools are not treated as a source: we link the primary and official sources behind each article. Details are in section 4 of our editorial policy.

We do not accept payment to change what we write. See our advertising disclosure for how the site is funded.
